Here are some of my favorite places to stuff my face and get cruuunk in Greenpoint:
Lomzynianka
646 Manhattan Ave
(between Bedford Ave & Norman Ave)
This restaurant is truly the yummiest and best deal in Greenpoint! Grandma’s in the kitchen hookin’ you up with the tastiest Polish food, and you REALLY can’t beat the prices: less than $6 for for ALL entrees (stuff like beef goulash, meatloaf, pork chop, etc.) served with potatoes! The pierogies are dope! Lots of soups and blintzes too. The place is often packed because it’s teeny tiny, and literally everyone in the neighborhood comes here – Polish, non-Polish, etc. Plus it’s BYOB – wootwoot!

Black Rabbit Bar
91 Greenpoint Ave
(between Manhattan Ave & Franklin St)
Black Rabbit is a favorite neighborhood bar that has great drinks and food! This is one of the first places I ever visited in Greenpoint before I ever even moved here, and I fell in love with the cute little private “snug” booths and funkily decorated backyard. I recommend their Black Rabbit beer, which is kind of like Guinness (but cuter?), and they also have a great selection of boardgames.

Coco66
66 Greenpoint Ave
(between Franklin St & West St)
This is a really laidback place with a huge bar in the front room. There’s a middle room with a pool table, darts and more “cuddly” seating. The back room is about 40% stage, 60% tables/couches for the bands and DJs that play there. The clientele are a supernice mixture; and in fact, I once witnessed a group of would-be pool players slowly roll their balls back into the pockets so as not to disturb the comedy show going on: Too Cool for School hosted by Nick Turner and Cassidy Henehan on Friday nights.
